An unknown body was found at Bavani Min Kothavari check dam, Samayapuram, Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district on 25.09.2025 and case was registered in Coimbatore district Mettupalayam PS Cr No 500/2025 u/s 194 - BNSS. Tmt.Mabin Simila WSSI 1003 of DCRB Nagercoil in Kanyakumari district used the CCTNS portal and found the identity of the deceased to be one Kuppusamy (70) S/o Rangan, No 7, FCI Nagar, Vellakinar Road, Urumandampalayam, Vellakinar, Coimbatore who went missing from his home on 21.09.2025 (case registered in Coimbatore district Chettipalayam PS Cr No 341/2025 u/s Man Missing). The identity of the Missing was established and it helped the investigating officer to detect the case. Thus a Missing person case was detected with the help of CCTNS.
VERIFICATION OF ANTECEDENT OF PASSPORT APPLICANT AT- Tenkasi district
An unknown person was found unconcience at Shenkottai bus stand on 03.09.2025 and brought to Tenkasi G.H for treatment and then shifted to Medical College hospital Tirunelveli and died there on 09.09.2025. A case was registered in Tenkasi district Shenkottai PS Cr No 347/2025 u/s 194 - BNSS. Tmt.Mabin Simila WSSI 1003 of DCRB Nagercoil in Kanyakumari district used the CCTNS portal and found the identity of the deceased to be one Thangavel (66) S/o Irulappan, House No 8, 40, Mattu kottagai street, Mangapuram, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar district who went missing from his home on 02.09.2025 (case registered in Virudhunagar district Rajapalayam South PS Cr No 471/2025 u/s Man Missing). The identity of the Missing was established and it helped the investigating officer to detect the case. Thus a Missing person case was detected with the help of CCTNS.
VERIFICATION OF ANTECEDENT OF PASSPORT APPLICANT AT- Thoothukudi
In Thoothukudi District Puthiamputhur Police station Cr.No.257/2025 u/s-281, 125(a) BNS @ 281, 106(1) BNS (Un-identified Dead Body) case was registered on 03.09.2025. Puthiamputhur police station SI Tr. Jesline checked the missing persons details of that same age in CCTNS portal and had a probable match with Tirunelveli District Radhapuram Police station Cr.No. 418/2025 u/s-Man Missing. He sent the details to the Missing Person’s relatives. Finally they have identified and confirmed that the unidentified died person’s name was Senthilkumar, Age- 48, S/o, Sathan, East Street, Kariyakulam. In this way Thoothukudi District Puthiamputhur Police Station Cr.No.257/2025 u/s-281, 125(a) BNS @ 281, 106(1) BNS (Un-Identified Dead Body) case was traced by Puthiamputhur Sub Inspector Tr. Jesline.
VERIFICATION OF ANTECEDENT OF PASSPORT APPLICANT AT-Tirunelveli District
In Tirunelveli District, Missing Nodal WSSI 490 Tmt.Thangamalarmathi while matching the Missing persons with the UIDBs in CCTNS portal, she found one missing person named Murugan aged 70 Tirunelveli District Munneerpallam PS. Cr No 80/2024 U/s Man Missing photo was matched with the unidentified dead body of Madurai City Tiruparangundam PS. Cr No 356/2021 U/s 174 CrPc Unidentified Body. This matching was confirmed by Missing person's Wife named Tmt. Chendu The sincere efforts of Tmt. Thangamalarmathi WSSI 490 was appreciated.
VERIFICATION OF ANTECEDENT OF PASSPORT APPLICANT AT- Virudhunagar
A case of unidentified dead body was reported at Washermenpet - Thiruvottiyur PS Cr.No.1043/2025 on 07.09.25 at 13.30 hrs. SCRB Nodal Tr.Karthikaimani, SSI, used the missing person search in CCTNS Portal and matched the identity of the deceased on 20.09.25 to be one Yesudoss (76) S/o. Lazar. Who went missing from his home on 05.09.25. case was registered at Washermenpet - New Washermenpet PS Cr.No.1056/2025 u/s Man Missing on 09.09.25. Because identity of the deceased was established, it helped the investigating officer is detecting the case. Hence both the cases were referred by the concerned Investigating Officers.

As a result of this on 29.09.2025 she matched one Missing person named Murugan (70 ) who was missing in Tirunelveli District, Munneerpallam PS Cr.No. 80/2024 u/s Man Missing was matched with the unidentified dead body in Madurai City, Tiruparangundram PS Cr.No. 356/2021 u/s 174 CrPC.
