The driver of Government Special Bus No. TNT 63 N 1747 was identified as Kumariah son Kumar of Chatharasan Fort, Sivagangai District.The driver of the Tamil Nadu government special bus TN 631 N 1747 heading towards Thayamangalam collided head-on with Special Investigator Karnan, Armed Policemen Chandanakumar, Balasubramanian and Karl Marx, who were involved in the collision. Balasubramaniam suffered severe bruising to the head, bruising to the right wrist, severe bruising below the hip to Balasubramanian, severe bruising to the face and head to Santhanakumar, and abrasion to the right knee to Karlmarx. Special pro-investigator Karna was rushed to Sivagangai Government Medical College Hospital by 108 ambulance and was pronounced dead. Sivagangai Taluk Ps GaNa 582021 U S. 279,332,337,338,304 II IPC on 26.03.2021 The case was registered and after that the injured Balasubramanian and Chandanakumar were given first aid by the doctor and both were sent to Madurai Rajaji Medical College Hospital for further treatment. The doctor who examined the injured Balasubramanian said that he died at the Rajaji Medical College Hospital in Madurai without any treatment. |

Jegastin Rajkumar and enquired Muppidathi. He told Murugavel, indulged om quarrel with him, his FORCE Vehicle bearing Reg. No. TN 67 AX 4389. Hence the Police personnel took him to PS along with his FORCE vehicle and produced him before the SI. Balu. After that SI. Balu and Pon Subbiah had gone on night rounds duty in motorcycle bearing Reg.No. TN 69 J 8942 owned to SI Balu. On 01.02.2021 at about 00.30 hours when they reached Korgai junction at about 00.45 hours where the said Murugavel was standing with a Ashok Leyland Dost vehicle bearing Reg.No. TN 92 E 9601 the accused Murugavel dashed behind the motorcycle with intention to kill them when they were coming in front of Vazhavallan Oorkatha Samy temple at about 00.45 hours took the vehicle in reverse and fled away from the scene. Accordingly Jegastin Rajkumar, PC 1205 Palavesa Partheepan and Gr.I 1817 Thomas Paulraj rushed to the SOC. They took the injured SI Balu and Gr.I Pon Subbiah to Primary Heath Centre, Eral in 108 Ambulance where the doctor who examined the SI Balu was brought dead at about 01.45 hours. In this connection a case in Eral PS.Cr.No.462021 us 353, 307, 302 IPC was registered on 01.0.2021 at 04.00 hours. |

On 18.08.2020 the special team instructed to secure one notorious history sheeted rowdy named Duraimuthu Eral PS Rowdy HS No 3242018. So Tr. Subramanian and the subdivision team persons urged to outskirts of Manakkarai village in Murappanadu PS limit. Around 01.30 pm on 18.08.2020 while searching for Duraimuthu noticed that Duraimuthu and 3 others were hiding In Manakari vilakku opposite near forest water tank. When the try to approach them Duraimuthu ran in to the forest and hurled country made bombs. Subramanian try to prevent from the hurled country bomb, but unexpectedly the bomb exploded on subramanians head and smashed. He died at the very spot. |

After securing them, he met with an accident near Sri Kannan Fireworks, Sattur to Thayilpatti Road, where he was hit by a van TN 45 Y 5461 which came in the opposite direction, while he was bringing the accused person along with the victim girl for further enquiry to Maraneri PS from Kovilpatti. In that accident he succumbled to injuries and died on the spot. He attained martyrdom, by sincerely executing the works assigned to him without any fault. |

Under the head of higher officials on 23.01.2017 manjuvirattu was started at kansapuram village with 150 tamers and 80 bulls. Thiru. V. Shankar PC 1593 was positioned at the right side of Manjuvirattu vadi vasal beyond the barricade. The bulls were started released one by one and at last a bull that belongs to one pandi of kansapuram was relased at 13.30 hrs. The bull which came out from the vadivasal retured back from the arena and move towards the tamers and angrily injured one sathish and sundaramoorthy of kansapuram. Subsequently, it caused injury to one Alagumurgan of kansapuram. As the bull was unruly, all were terified to near the bull. On seeing the bull, being the tamers, Tr. Shankar who was at duty on the spot without considering his life immediately tried to safe the victims from the clutches of the bull. At that time, he was heavily gored by the so called bull and injured in his neck. He was immediately rescued and after provided with first aid he was referred to government rajaji hospital Madurai for treatment. On the way to Madurai on 23.01.2017 at 16 15 Hrs Tr. Shankar died. With an ulterior motive to save the life of general public, he sacrificed his by abandoned his family. |

On 15.06.2016, around 1600 hrs, a chain snatching was committed by four unknown accused on two motorcycles in Sinigiripalli village, Krishnagiri district. The details about the incident and the accused were passed over to all the evening round officers in the district. Later, at about 1700hrs, Tr. Nagaraj, SI of Police of SIPCOT PS was alerted that two of the suspected accused persons were in noticed in Bharadhidasan Nagar in Hosur Town on a black colour TVS Fiero Motorcycle. On receipt of information, SI Nagaraj along with his team, Tr. Munusamy, Head Constable 784 and Tr. Dhanapal, Head Constable 860 started pursuing the accused persons. Head Constable, Shri Munusamy caught one of the accused persons, who stabbed him with a knife on his stomach. Despite being hurt, Shri Munusamy held the accused tightly and secured him. Thereafter, since he had sustained grievous injuries, he was sent to Gunam Hospital in Hosur for treatment. Unfortunately, Head Constable Munusamy succumbed to the injuries at 0500 hrs on 16.06.2016. The exemplary work of the Head Constable, Shri Munusamy was appreciated by the Honble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Shri Munusamy is survived by his wife and 2 children. |

Unfortunately, the lorry driver swerved the vehicle and hit their motorcycle in a rash manner, causing Shri Chandraekaran and his colleague to fall. Shri Chandrasekaran fell on the side of the lorry, which ran over his head. Thus, the brave head constable laid down his life while discharging his duty with utmost sincerity and dedication. Shri N. The gunman, who was holding the butt of the gun, fired at Shri Paneerselvam. Though Shri Paneerselvam was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries. Accused Kumar had enmity towards Shri Nagarathinam because on some previous occassions, Kumar was secured by Shri Nagarathinam only. Therefore, Kumar stealthily followed Shri Nagarathinam and attacked him with a long heavy knife on the back of his neck. Efforts to save Shri Nagarathinam did not succeed and he succumbed to the injuries. Thus, Shri Nagarathinam lost his life in the line of duty. Shri Nagarathinam is survived by his parents, wife and children. |

On 18.03.1993, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shri M.Balasubramanian and his team were conducting vehicle check during night rounds. A lorry, TN57 2761, was intercepted and Shri Balasubramanian was making enquiries regarding contents of a plastic can kept in it. Suddenly, the lorry driver started the lorry and drove in rash way to escape from the police. Shri Balasubramanian, immediately started chasing the lorry in his jeep. The night round officers of neighboring police station Thalaiyuthu P.S were the alerted and instructed to detain the lorry when sighted. However, when the lorry was blocked by Thalaiyuthu police station personnel, Shri Balasubramanian jeep, which was closely following the lorry, could not be stopped and it rammed into the back of the lorry. Shri Balasubramanian succumbed to the injuries. Thus, Shri Balasubramanian sacrificed his life while discharging his duty. At the time of Martyrdom, he was survived by his father, wife and 2 sons. |

On 20.10.1992, Police Constable Shri Paul Arumaithurai was on sentry duty in Valliyoor Police Station. An accused, Ramachandran was kept in lock up for involvement in a case of Narcotics and Psychotropic substances. Suddenly, around 1.30 hours, brother of Ramachandran, along with 30 others, barged into the station and tried to set him free. Shri Paul Arumaithurai, despite being alone, stood courageously and fought against the mob. However, the mob over powered and murdered Shri Paul Arumaithurai and took the accused with them. Thus, Shri Paul Arumaithurai sincerely discharged his duty till his last breath. Shri Paul Arumaithurai was survived by his parents at the time of attaining Martyrdom. He has received 2 rewards during his career. |

Around 0100 hrs, some unknown culprits disconnected the power supply and attempted to commit dacoity. Seeing the Police guards, the culprits opened fire indiscriminately, wounding Shri Nagarajan Colleague. Though fully aware of the danger that may befall him, Shri Nagarajan chased the gang. In retaliation, they fired at Shri Nagarajan, inflicting fatal injuries. Thus, Shri Nagaraj made supreme sacrifice to prevent a dacoity. At the time of attaining martyrdom, Shri Nagarajan was survived by his parents, wife and children. |
